Can't believe that 30 days have gone by and I still have not learnt how to post a pic of myself to you bloggers!  Sorry.  You can imagine what I look like while you sip your mug of "me" and watch the Victoria Secret Show.  Winners come in all sizes.  In this case, there were no single winners.  The Guatemalan was an excellent coffee as was the Costa Rican Tarrazu.  Each will take a turn in my mug depending on my whim for the day!  BUT, if I  had to choose only one, my hand would go for the Guatemalan.  Loved the coffee taste, the rich aroma, the ....

Those who think that all coffee's are the same are sadly mistaken! Soil, regions, roasting, bean quality and how it is brewed combine to make a great cup of coffee. But another factor is individual taste! Me I like full body,strong and smooth without a bitter after taste. Melitta Costa Rican Tarrazu is in my opinion makes a good cup of coffee. Take time to experiment with how much coffee you add per cup, a little more or a little less can change the taste.Water temperature also can affect the taste. I prefer filtered water,cold and a good old fashioned kettle to heat it. Not a big fan of paper...

The trip was a success for many reasons, lots of good deals, lots of time with my daughter and grandson, a swim. a good steak dinner and of course a duty free crossing on the way back!  But one of the biggest accomplishments was seeing how portable my coffee maker was and how it would work at the hotel. I must say I drank my melitta every day (at least once)! A few other surprises at work today, at least two co-workers bought and tried Melitta over the weekend and told me about it!  I guess the sample treat at our past team meeting was a success too! So I am feeling very optimistic today and relized...
